The official Master of International Cooperation in Sustainable Emergency Architecture, offered by UIC Barcelona, stands at the forefront of preparing architects to address complex global challenges. This unique MSc program equips students with the skills to rebuild communities affected by urbanisation, poverty, conflict and disasters. With a focus on emergency architecture and sustainable urban development, students gain a holistic understanding of managing projects at both urban and architectural scales.

Our distinguished faculty comprises renowned international professors and collaborations with esteemed institutions like UN-Habitat. Mandatory internships, facilitated by agreements with over 40 global organisations, including UN-Habitat and MSF, provide invaluable real-world experience. A field trip, integrated into the curriculum, offers hands-on learning opportunities in a real, ongoing project.

Moreover, the Humanitarian Shelter and Settlements course, certified by the IFRC, ensures students acquire essential skills for emergency shelter and settlement coordination. The multicultural environment, with students from over 70 nationalities, fosters diverse perspectives and enriches the learning experience. With a vast alumni network making significant impacts globally, our graduates are sought after, with 90 per cent employed in the sector within a year of graduation and 50 per cent employed within just two months.
